We specialise in the design and development of fisheries & aquaculture policy, having led the drafting of South Africa’s entire suite of fishing policies and fishing quota allocation processes in 2003-2005.
Since 2005, we have advised multilateral organisations, individual governments and private fishing and aquaculture companies on policy and regulatory development.
In 2013, we drafted the fishing policy for South Africa’s official opposition political party – the Democratic Alliance. This policy remains in force today and is accessible here:
